Letter from the Secretary General

Dear Delegates and Advisors,

My name is Konstantin Rezvoi, and I am honored to be serving as Secretary General for the 17th iteration of the SunMUN Conference. As a sophomore here at Arizona State University, I’m excited to welcome you, for the first time or for your return, to ASU’s Tempe Campus for the dates of November 13-14th this year. Last year, our conference implored attendees to strike the delicate balance between global cooperation and the sovereignty of their nations through the topics and committees brought before them. This year however, a different question shall be put before the body. In the endless progress of humanity, how will we find sustainability? From topics in the ancient past to the present day, committees for a region of the world to those reaching high into the stars, and bodies that have remained the same for decades to those newly reformed, Model UN at ASU will strive to create a refined, educational, and worthwhile experience to anyone who finds themselves at SunMUN XVII. Keep your eye out for more information on the conference soon, and thank you for joining myself and my staff as we work to make this conference the best it can be.
